Pedro de Miguel 27F negra 2008

Pedro de Miguel 27F negra 2008 flamenco guitar.
The name "Pedro de Miguel" refers to the name of two great Madrid luthiers. Pedro Perez and Miguel Rodriguez. At the age of fourteen they both entered the Ramirez shop as apprentices and later became master craftsmen working on Ramirez III's personal team. They worked for Ramirez until 1990. In 1991, Miguel Angel Rodriguez Casas and Pedro Pérez established their own workshop. The quality of their guitars has led them to become designated guitarreros for the Real Conservatorio de Madrid. The Pedro de Miguel guitars have reached great prestige among flamenco guitarists. Their flamenco guitars are played by Gerardo Nunez, Pepe Habichuela, Tomatito and Rafael Riqueni, to name a few.

This 27F Palosanto (Negra) is Pedro de Miguel’s best selling model. A large number of working professionals in Madrid play with this guitar. It’s great for accompanying cante, baile, or just playing solo music. An excellent selection of woods has been selected to build this guitar. The guitar is very comfortable to play with room to lower the action if desired. The basses are strong and penetrating. It has a wonderful amount of volume and has a great “flamenco attack” to it. It has a deep “cante jondo” kind of sound. The guitar has a wonderful sustain and balance. The guitar is a huge value for the money , an excellent negra, it is not common that one finds a negra of this caliber at this price.
