Felipe Conde FP14/N NEW 2013 French polish
For this new designed flamenco guitar of Felipe Conde we selected an old aged first grade spruce top with lot’s of essential cross silk grain patterns to project a nice wooden open percussive sound. The French polished top increases the sound projection and enhances the tone richness further making this new Conde an exceptional flamenco guitar in every regard. For the back and sides we selected a gorgeous Indian palosanto adding extra power that most players find helpful during rehearsals, in the recital rooms or recording studio. Aesthetically she has very charming edge veneer inlays, a gorgeous maple inlay in the back and the famous Esteso head shape. Overall, an excellent solid flamenco guitar with a top level price quality ratio, an authentic flamenco sound, easy playability and excellent quality of the wood work.
Felipe Conde is one of the last Spanish luthiers from the famous Conde Hermanos dynasty, founded by Domingo Esteso in 1915 at the famous address of Gravina 7 in Madrid. Famous Flamenco guitarists such as Paco de Lucia, Manolo de Huelva, Nino Ricardo, Sabicas, Esteban de Sanlucar, Oscar Herrero, Jose Manuel Canizares, Rafael Riqueni, Enrique de Melchor and other style guitarists such as Al Di Meola, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, John Williams, Lenny Kravitz, David Byrne, Toninho Horta... have played or still play the worldwide known guitars of Conde Hermanos.
