Francisco Barba Martinez is one of Sevilla's most recognized builder. His reputation is known throughout the world and his guitars are in huge demand now. Barba's guitars are played but such artists as Pedro Pena, Nino de Pura, Quique Paredes, Riqueni, Manolo Franco and others. Barba's guitars feature a great setup, necks are very comfortable. Typically, they are fast and very well balanced using very light Spanish cypress creating an incredible amount of volume…a great examples of what a true flamenco guitar should be.
If you want to know how Barba his guitars look, feel and sound like, we invite you to watch, listen and enjoy the below included high definition video of our La Sonanta buleria song played on one of our other Barbas together with some palmas and cajón.
This is a wonderful, musical and very Flamenco sounding Barba from 2000. This Barba has that famous sweet, musical, but punchy tone that made Barba his reputation known throughout the world. She has a great setup and is very well balanced. The neck is very comfortable. She has an incredible volume and is being very well cared for with only a couple unobjectionable marks on the top, otherwise like new with no cracks and no repairs. If you are looking for a great Barba, this one deserves your serious considerations… a great example of what a true flamenco guitar should be.
